Parents/Guardians of students who plan to transfer into a non-resident school district must complete a OSPI Choice Transfer Request. To begin this process, please click on the following link to access OSPI's Student Transfers page or this link to access OSPI's Online Choice Transfer Request Portal.

A Choice Transfer Request must be completed separately for each student in your family each school year. Follow the instructions that appear and be sure to click the "Submit Request" button at the bottom of the page. Once submitted, your request will forward to your resident school district first and then to the non-resident district. You will receive e-mail updates from the system throughout the process.
